Group Onboarding Worksheet
Yay! Let's get started. This is step 1 of 2 to launch your missions experience. Please provide us with all your info so we can start setting things up.
Trip and Training Options
All teams require a $750 security deposit.
This deposit must be paid for each team in order to reserve your space and allow TTW to begin working on your missions experience.
Where do you want to go?
Please note: Certain trip locations require a ministry host deposit in addition to the $750 security deposit.
All teams set up through Touch the World require a security deposit. This deposit must be paid for each team in order to reserve your space and allow TTW to begin working on your missions experience.
Due to the many variables and uncertainties of COVID-19, TTW will be unable to provide trip fundraising for summer 2021. Since funds are non-refundable when given directly to TTW by individual donors, it works in the churches favor to collect and hold the funds (which are still tax deductible) until payment to TTW is required. At that time, a check may be sent by the church to cover deposits/costs of trip. TTW will work directly with the group coordinator to ensure this process is seamless. Thank you for understanding.
Budget & Fundraising Options
Touch the World will use your answers to the following questions to prepare your Trip Quote Agreement. That quote will include an individual per person trip cost that you can use to advertise your trip. Please fill in your best estimates to help us prepare an accurate quote.
Touch the World requires at least 2 leaders per team (one of each gender unless it is a single-sex team) with a preferred student to leader ratio of 4:1.
All teams are responsible for meeting a 50% team funding deadline and 100% team funding deadline. Touch the World offers an online fundraising platform that will enable your team members to individually raise funds towards the total team goal. Please note: participants are raising funds toward the total TEAM cost. These funds do not belong to the individual, but are recognized according to IRS 501c3 guidelines as a donation towards the ministry. Donations are not refundable, under any circumstance, according to the law.
We recommend including team leader costs in the student fundraising (which will increase the individual cost for the student) because we believe that leaders are a valuable part of the team and sacrificing their time to participate. We can prepare your Trip Quote Agreement with a per person fundraising goal for students that includes the cost of your leaders. However, if your final headcount differs from your estimated headcount which you have submitted above, student fundraising may not cover the full leader costs. In this case, we will first pull from excess funds raised and then your $750 security deposit. If the total leader costs are still not covered, we will invoice you the remaining amount.
