At-Risk Youth & Homeless Ministry
Mission to El Salvador (MTES) is serving those who are deeply affected by the cycle of abject poverty. Their holistic approach creates sustainable projects which address the physical, spiritual, and mental needs of those most vulnerable to poverty.
What Teams Will Do
Teams will participate in ministries and projects designed to serve the homeless, the very poor, kids at risk, and victims of exploitation in El Salvador. Some of these ministries may include children’s ministry for street kids, preparing and distributing meals for the homeless, relationship building with students, and service projects such as construction and painting.
Food, lodging and onsite transportation included.
How do trips work at Touch the World?
In order to set up a short-term mission trip to any of our host locations, we require your team's participation in our 3-Day Missions Training Retreat.
Touch the World is a youth-focused missions organization specializing in training for short-term teams. We equip youth with an understanding of identity, culture, and mission that prepares them to live as sent disciples of Jesus in their everyday lives.
If your group is interested in training and trips, we'd love to connect with you! If you'd like to serve with one of our ministry partners, we'll help you decide which host location is the best fit for your group. To get started, submit an interest form!
